What, Why, Where & How

What We Do

Samaritan Aviation operates some of the only floatplanes in Papua New Guinea, the second largest island in the world.  We currently serve in the East Sepik Province whose population is estimated at 500,000. We serve those living in the East Sepik through emergency evacuation flights, medicine delivery, disaster relief and community health programs.

Why We Do It

Samaritan Aviation exists to demonstrate God’s love by providing aviation and medical services in remote areas. Eighty percent of the residents within the East Sepik Province live in remote areas without access to the one hospital in this province. 220,000 of those residents live along a large river called the Sepik. Samaritan Aviation is providing access to critical medical care and health services that in most cases might not otherwise be available.

How We Do It

Sharing Christ’s love, saving lives, impacting communities and providing access and hope to the poor and forgotten would not be possible without donations from people like you. Samaritan Aviation is a 501 C-3 non-profit organization and is funded through the Papua New Guinea government and private donations. In Papua New Guinea, Samaritan Aviation successfully partners with a number of organizations in order to effectively and efficiently provides these services. Examples of these organizations include: The Provincial Government, Catholic Health Services, Area Medical distribution store, Pacific Islands Ministries, SDA Medical Outreach, Save the Children Australia, and Oxfam Australia and Heart to Heart International.
